Many families must choose between a meal and an education. At SIRANA Global, we believe no child should give up on their dreams due to poverty. We provide notebooks, pens, and uniforms so children feel proud to learn. By offering supplies and scholarships, we lift the burden off parent’s shoulders, proving that poverty is a hurdle that can be overcome with the right help.

According to UNICEF researches

  • About 16 % of Pakistan’s population is food insecure and lacking access to essential services.
  • A nutrition survey reported roughly 58 % of Pakistani households were food-insecure
  • 29 million women and children need nutrition support due to poverty-linked malnutrition risks.
  • Approximately 33 million people affected by the 2022 floods (a major poverty shock)

  • India has significantly reduced its multidimensional poverty rate, dropping from 29.2 % (2013–14) to 11.3 % (2022–23)
  • India has seen the world’s largest absolute reduction in poverty, lifting hundreds of millions out of multidimensional poverty over the last decade.

  • Over 39 million people in Bangladesh live in multidimensional poverty.
  • National surveys indicate about 1 in 4 households (≈27.9 %) are below the upper poverty line, and nearly 10 % are below the lower poverty line
  • Roughly 24 % of children under 18 live in poverty, with 13 % in extreme poverty.
